It’s hard to believe it’s already the end of June! As we enjoy the beautiful summer weather here in Intercourse, PA, many of our guests are already looking ahead to one of the most anticipated events of the late summer and fall: the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
Located at the historic Mount Hope Estate & Winery in Manheim, the Faire is just a 35-minute scenic drive from Carriage Corner Bed & Breakfast. Whether you’re a seasoned “Rennie” or a first-time visitor, now is the perfect time to start planning your journey back to the 16th century.
When Does the Fun Begin?
The 2026 season is scheduled to kick off on August 15 and run through October 25. The Faire is open every Saturday and Sunday, regardless of weather (after all, the Queen waits for no rain!).
Ticket Warning: In recent years, the PA Ren Faire has moved to a date-specific, online-only ticket system. Tickets are not sold at the gate. Keep an eye on their official site so you don’t miss out on your preferred weekend!
What to Expect at Mount Hope
The “Shire” is a sprawling 35-acre village where history and fantasy collide. Here’s what you can’t miss:
- Themed Weekends: From “Faires & Fantasies” to “Halloween Days & Spooky Nights” each weekend offers a unique atmosphere and costume contests.
