*This post is all about July 2026 Events in Lancaster County, PA*
With July right around the corner, Lancaster County is gearing up for a month of spectacular fireworks, outdoor concerts, and unique festivals. Whether you’re planning a trip for the Fourth of July or a quiet mid-week escape to Intercourse, PA, there is no shortage of ways to celebrate the heart of summer.
Staying at Carriage Corner Bed & Breakfast puts you right in the center of the action. Here is our curated guide to the best events happening in July 2026.
1. Fourth of July Fireworks & Celebrations
Lancaster County takes Independence Day seriously! 2026 is an especially big year for celebrations.
- Glorious Fourth at Landis Valley: Located a quick 30 minute drive from Carriage Corner, experience a traditional 1800s-style celebration with patriotic speeches, wagon rides, and period music.
- The Lititz Fourth of July: Known as one of the oldest continuous celebrations in the U.S., Lititz Springs Park hosts a world-class fireworks display, a baby parade, and the famous candle lighting in the park. Don’t forget to go early enough to get some Wilbur Chocolate.
- Intercourse Heritage Days: Right here in our backyard and hosted over Father’s Day weekend, you can enjoy food, games, and local community spirit with a smaller, more intimate fireworks display that feels just like home.
2. Long’s Park Summer Music Series
Every Sunday evening in July, the amphitheater at Long’s Park hosts free outdoor concerts featuring everything from jazz and blues to rock and world music. Pack a picnic basket and a blanket, and enjoy the music under the stars. It is the quintessential Lancaster summer experience. We’re happy to help you find the best picnic food to take with you and supply a blanket.
3. Rough & Tumble Threshermen’s Reunion (Preview)
While the big reunion is in August, July is when the Rough & Tumble Engineers Historical Association in nearby Kinzers begins their summer steam shows. It’s a fascinating look at antique steam engines, tractors, and blacksmithing that defined the agricultural history of PA Dutch Country.
4. Summer Fun at Kitchen Kettle Village
Located just a short walk from Carriage Corner, Kitchen Kettle Village hosts various “foodie” events throughout July. If you are a “foodie” keep an eye out for their Picnic Tasting Tours where you can sample fresh jams, local baked goods, and enjoy live local music while you shop.
