We had the pleasure of attending Jukebox Jive at the Magic & Wonder Theater in Paradise earlier this month. You may be asking yourself what exactly is Jukebox Jive? Well, how’s this for an explanation?
Jukebox Jive is a NEW music variety show that celebrates the greatest jukebox hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and now even the 80s! Travel back in time to experience your favorite hits from the era of school days, drive in movies, prom, summertime, disco, and The King! With thrilling arrangements, top notch vocals, variety acts, comedy, magic, dazzling new technical elements, and more, you’ll be singing, dancing, and entertained from start to finish!

We get that magic doesn’t appeal to everyone and if that’s you, then Jukebox Jive is a really fun way to spend an afternoon at Magic & Wonder. This show is a matinee offered at 3p on Wednesdays, Fridays and some Saturdays. You can just see the show, get food from the snack bar, order off the menu or add the lunch buffet to your show tickets.
Betcha Can’t Help Yourself
Jukebox Jive starts in a 50s diner with 3 couples singing several well known love songs from the 50s while dancing around a Jukebox! For their second act, the music moves through the 60s, 70s and into the 80s. There’s a few Elvis songs along with some gentle magic tricks. There’s also comedy, quick costume Changes and just good wholesome fun! The signing is great and the songs are all well known numbers – I betcha can’t help yourself from singing along!
