During this uncertain time, we too wanted to reach out and let you know what we are doing.
First and foremost we are open and operating as normal. Bed and Breakfasts are considered essential services and we are allowed to remain open as long as we are healthy and able to do so.
As you know, we are a small family owned business and have always been very strict with the cleaning and disinfecting of our home and guest rooms. We make every effort to provide a safe and clean environment for you, our guest, in our accommodations and our food service.
If you currently have a reservation and you are not feeling well please stay home, rest and seek medical attention if necessary. If you chose to cancel, your deposit will be converted into a gift certificate for a future reservation within the next six months. This will be reviewed and adjusted as necessary.
This is a stressful time for travel, and we have heard concerns about travel plans. We know that canceling travel plans can be disappointing and we understand that you take time off to visit friends and family, to have a mental break, feed your travel bug and make joyful memories. If your feeling well and want to get away, why not come out and enjoy Amish Country? We have a list of places that will deliver food so you don’t have to go out and we’ll provide dishes and silverware. You don’t even have to do the dishes!
Effective immediately, for reservations up to April 30, 2020, we will not take any deposits on your stay and full payment will be due upon arrival. For those that are feeling cooped up and going stir crazy, we are offering the following: $100 a night, any room. We would appreciate the following: 2 night minimum. Some restrictions apply: payment for your stay MUST be in cash or check and you must book direct.
Sometimes, just relaxing somewhere else is the cure to going stir crazy. We have a library of books you can borrow, along with board games, cards, puzzles and outdoor games. You can relax in the front garden, getting plenty of the health benefits from fresh air and sunshine or take a walk around Intercourse Park. Jump into your car and explore the Amish farmlands while maintaining your social distancing.We want you to have peace of mind knowing that when you book with us, we will remain flexible. We’re reshaping our standard cancellation policy for the time being.
Our primary goal is to provide our guests with a relaxing and enjoyable experience. With that being said, we recognize that providing that comfort means including you on all safety measures we are taking in regard to the COVID19 pandemic.
- Providing hand sanitizer throughout the house;
- Additional sanitizing of all surfaces throughout the day; and
- Asking guests to reschedule if they have any symptoms of COVID19;
- Adding a self-check in option for your guests to minimize contact; and
- Making ourselves available by text, facebook messenger or phone.
As Always, we appreciate your support and patronage, it is through the support of our guests / friends that small businesses like Carriage Corner Bed and Breakfast exist.
Be Well & Wash Your Hands,
Jay & Gaylen
