1 CupChopped Almonds
⅔CupMaple Syrup instead of Honey

1CupDried Cherriesadd after baking
1CupMini Chocolate Chipsadd after baking
Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl
Mix the wet ingredients in a microwave safe container. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds
Pour the hot liquid over the dry ingredients and mix well
Spread the mixture on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 325° for 25-35 minutes stirring every 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and add dry fruit if you are going to.
If you like a clumpier granola add 2 beaten egg whites to the wet ingredients before mixing. Once the granola is done baking, DON'T STIR it until it's cool. Once completely cooled, you can add your dried fruit.
