Who Are We?
We are Jay & Gaylen Matlock, a couple of Seattle transplants who moved to the heart of Amish Country to run a bed and breakfast.
We love meeting new people, making new recipes, hiding veggies in your breakfast and decorating. I am crafty and do most of the cooking, although Jay handles the baking. I am learning to quilt, so someday the quilt on your bed may be made by me.
Along with baking, Jay does all the gardening and yard maintenance, you never know, he might be wielding a chainsaw when you come by – but don’t be frightened, he’s just cleaning up the trees to make access to the driveway safer for all. ~ gaylen
